This dress took over a year to make because the student has to collect the bags. As the fashion industry moves towards a more sustainable direction, it is no wonder that the Dorito dress attracted so much attention. Since the packets with aluminium lining cannot be recycled, turning them to be a ball gown was an attractive idea.  However, the student did not wear it to her prom because it was fragile and way too hot. Nonetheless, she did receive an award for this art piece.
